Naphtha is used primarily as a feedstock for Naphtha cracker and Aromatics plants to produce downstream petrochemical materials such as ethylene, propylene and aromatics.
Unlike other petroleum products, naphtha is an important product from refinery, which is the main feedstock for our naphtha crackers in Mailiao Complex.
In order to reduce the feedstock cost for cracker, FPCC decided to build a refinery that is vertically integrated with the petrochemical production.
